The Role & Relationships:
Our Social Media Coordinators report directly to our Managing Director and will work closely with our Account Managers in all areas of social media management on a day-to-day basis. This position will be accountable for executing and managing our client's social media strategy across various platforms at the direction of our Account Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute results-driven social media strategies across various platforms
- Consistently produce and/or curate creative content ideas that adhere to the content strategy
- Produce/curate, edit, and schedule content for various clients (images, short form video and captions)
- Manage and monitor content calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery and publication
- Create copy for different brands in a unique tone and voice effectively
- Create and manage social media contests
- Research relevant hashtags
- Perform outbound engagement on behalf of client accounts
- Perform community management on behalf of client accounts (answering comments, messages, etc.)
- Conduct or support design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, design blogs, etc.)
- Design, create and send email marketing newsletters
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and be ready and eager to try them out
- Support with influencer marketing as required
- Attend events and produce live social media content
- Special projects as required (Rocks)
- Attend internal meetings and directly participate in the growth the company (we operate on a system called EOS, click here to learn more)
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, X) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Experience with creating and editing Reels/TikToks and a solid understanding of social media video creation, publishing and curation
- Experience with design (Canva at minimum)
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Highly proficient technical skills and can learn new tools quickly
- Is hungry for work, opportunities to learn, create, grow and contribute
- Isn’t afraid of accountability and a culture of open feedback and communication

The Compensation & Perks:
- Salary: $50,000-$56,000
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
